Held the fourth Thursday of each February at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School (OLMC), DSCDO’s Annual Meeting and Spaghetti Dinner is a cherished neighborhood tradition.
The evening includes recognition of neighborhood leaders, DSCDO’s board elections, and OLMC’s famous spaghetti dinner. DSCDO’s partnership with OLMC goes back to the early days of our organization, when Father Marino Frascati united with DSCDO to save the Gordon Square Arcade from demolition and build a community where all could live, work, worship and do business safely and with dignity.
Neighborhood residents and business owners must purchase or renew their DSCDO membership in order to attend the Annual Meeting and vote in board member elections. Those unable to attend the Annual Meeting in person may also purchase membership and vote by mail.
Anyone can purchase a spaghetti dinner and attend our Annual Meeting. Prior to purchasing membership which entitles you to vote in DSCDO Board elections, please verify your membership eligibility. If you are eligible to become a member (by living in or owning a business in the neighborhood), the spaghetti dinner is complimentary with your membership purchase.
If Annual Benefit ticket(s) were purchased by a neighborhood resident for the year prior, the purchaser is already a DSCDO member and will receive complimentary admission to the Annual Meeting.
